What we store on your device — and why.
Feedalia uses as few cookies and as little storage as possible. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural trackers.
What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage) are small files a site stores in your browser to remember information between visits. They can be strictly necessary for the service to work, or used to remember your preferences.
What Feedalia uses
- Account session (essential). If you sign in, we use a session cookie to keep you authenticated and remember your plan (free / pro). Account features cannot work without it.
- Preferences (functional). We store preferences such as region, language or the categories you view in your browser via
localStorage. This data is never transmitted to our servers. - No ads, no tracking. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural profiles, or third-party trackers to follow you across the web.
Duration
The session cookie expires when you log out or your session ends. Preferences in localStorage remain until you clear them manually from your browser.
How to disable them
You can delete or block cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time. Note that if you block the session cookie you will not be able to sign in or use account features.
Third parties
When you subscribe to Signal Pro, payment is processed in the Lemon Squeezy checkout, which may use its own cookies during the transaction under its policy. When you click a story, you are redirected to the original publisher's site, which applies its own cookies.
