FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is Feedalia?

Feedalia is an editorial intelligence platform: it aggregates news from many outlets, groups the ones telling the same story, and surfaces what is gaining coverage — with no personalization and no engagement algorithms. Learn more in About us.

How does the Signal Score work?

The Signal Score estimates how relevant a story is, independent of how many people saw it. To reach that number we combine signals such as how many distinct outlets cover it and how diverse they are, the editorial authority of those sources, how fast coverage is growing, and the intensity of the tone. We never use clicks, reading time or engagement metrics. Read a broader explanation of the method in Methodology.

How are trends calculated?

We look at how each story's coverage evolves over time: when it appears, how quickly new sources join, and how it relates to other stories. From that we identify which topics are emerging or gaining strength — without relying on what you have read before.

Does Feedalia generate news?

No. Feedalia does not produce or own news content. We index headlines and metadata from public sources and always redirect to the original article. The editorial titles, summaries and analysis you see are produced by Feedalia with the help of artificial intelligence, and clearly identified as such.

Is the news verified?

Feedalia is not a fact-checker. We show how much and how diverse the coverage of a story is, which helps you contrast sources, but editorial responsibility for the content lies with each outlet. Automated analysis can contain inaccuracies and does not replace the reader's judgement.

How much does it cost?

The signal feed is free, always. Signal Pro adds extended history, search, a watchlist with alerts, saved signals, topics and editorial briefs. See the prices in Plans & pricing.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime from your profile or by writing to soporte@feedalia.com. You keep Pro access until the end of the already-paid period. We offer a 7-day guarantee — see the Refund Policy.

Can I remove my content as a publisher?

Yes. If you are a publisher or outlet representative and want to update or remove content, write to chile@feedalia.com and we will handle your request.

How is Feedalia different from Google News?

Feedalia does not personalize the feed: everyone sees the same signals, prioritized by real coverage rather than by what an algorithm thinks you want. We don't build profiles or use tracking, and we add an editorial analysis layer (Signal Score, source convergence, context) that a traditional aggregator does not provide.
